It features free, peer-reviewed, lesson plans and student “interactives” (digital tools or activities). Lesson/interactive authors receive $300 for each submission that clears peer review and is posted to the site. Each year, 500 – 700 proposal sessions are presented at the NCTE convention. Calls for proposals are made in November, with a January deadline date. To submit, respond to the paper or online call for proposals issued each November (NCTE) or in March/April (CCCC). They are coordinated by section chairs at each level, as well as chairs of the Rainbow Strand, LGBT strand, and research strand.
