Currently, 24 individuals signed-up. –Recently, set-up an Upstate Total Rewards Group on Linked In. Currently, 43 individuals signed-up. –We are considering Facebook as another communication tool.

Note: New York State has its own minimum wage law which is applicable to all private sector entities with employees in NYS. The NYS minimum wage is currently at the same rate as the Federal minimum wage. This has not always been the case and it could change again in the future.

Note: New York State recognizes the Executive, Administrative, Professional and Computer exemptions. In NYS Outside Salespeople are not included within the definition of “employees” to whom the state wage and hour laws apply. Therefore, there is no need for an outside salesperson exemption under the State law.
