5 The CHRP Certification Process 1)The Academic Requirement  Academic route  9 courses, 70% overall, no less than 65%  Alternate Route  Executive Program Route 2)The Membership Requirement 3)The Exam Requirement  The National Knowledge Exam (NKE) 4)The Experience Requirement  3 years of HR experience at the professional level 5)Degree Requirement

6 National Knowledge Exam (NKE) 3 hour exam Multiple choice format 70% required to pass Offered in May and Oct (register 2 months in advance) Exam is developed by CCHRA via their Independent Board of Examiners and is administered provincially When the NKE is successfully completed, members can call themselves “CHRP Candidate” as long as they retain HRPA membership
