School Match-up Details You should receive the following info from us: School & Teacher Name Contact information Grade and number of students Preliminary date(s) for visit If you registered online as a Team Leader the Central Texas Discover Engineering Steering Committee will match volunteers to schools and provide information submitted by teachers to you.

Advance Work Talk with the teachers –What are the grade levels? –How many classes will you see? –How many students will you see in each class? –How long are the class periods? –What are they doing in class? –Are there any special requirements? –Jointly develop your plan Plan your team –Remember: The classroom teacher is your first team member! –Will school volunteers be available? –For hands on activities a 1 to 12 volunteer-student ratio is preferable
