Update on Information Governance  Approx 40% Organisations in NW have signed the ISPA  Information sharing protocol – annual review  Skills Register  Access Control enhancement  IT health check  Penetration Testing

Information Sharing Protocol Agreement Comments  Comments/Questions  Who will provide training for admin users?  Who is going to identify the admin users?  Why we can’t see the partners on your website?  Can organisations only access data for their own staff/students?  Will admin staff complete a confidentiality agreement ?  Who is the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO)?  Can we have more clarity on length the records will be kept?  Why date of birth is needed?  Is the website secure?  Who will be responsible to investigate potential DPA incidents?

UK Core Skills Framework So where are we now....? Framework Launched March & formally in Wales in April 2013 Pre release in London: 96% of NHS Organisations registered use. 14 organisations already aligned. 4 LETB Regions supporting adoption (London, North West, Thames and Wessex and Kent Surrey and Sussex). Since launch of electronic registration process in March 518 registrations for some or all aspects of the framework.

UK Core Skills Framework So where are we now....? Registrations by NHS Orgs 223 Registrations by Independent/Voluntary Sector: 42 Registrations by Education Providers (HE/FE): 23 Registrations by Others: 26

E-Assessment Project Aims Produce an assessment strategy for the Core Skills Framework Pooling and organisation of E-assessments developed against the framework outcomes. Review and standardisation of questions A standardised question set for each of the subjects Specification for scenario based assessments

E-Assessment Project Currently project being supported by; Skills for Health, Thames and Wessex London North West Wales Kent Surrey and Sussex invited to contribute to review of questions. Expected assets produced in November.
