Welcome to Parent Night! Ms. Moore

Whole Brain Teaching Is a research based system that utilizes all areas of the brain, keeps children engaged throughout their lessons, and helps them retain much more information than the standard lecture-discussion model. Delivers information in short “chunks” Students then teach each other what they have learned. Find more information on our classroom webpage, under Symbaloo: Online Classroom Resources.

Class Dojo Is an online classroom management tool. Students are awarded positive and negative points based on their behavior. Parents and Students have a code to login at home and see the points from the day. Students will be able to edit their avatars and see comments from the teacher about their behavior. Positive PointsNegative Points 1-5 color one square1-3 walk 5 minutes at recess 6-15 color two squares4-5 extra homework (and laps) 15 and up = prize more that 5 = note home and behavior reflection
