Goal O To make employees aware and understand the equipment and software available to them to help them live a happy, healthy, and active lifestyle. This will lead to more success in the workplace.

Why? O Wellness programs will help employees stay or become healthier. O When a person in healthier, a person is more likely to be happy. O When a person is happy it rubs off on others. O A happy workplace=a successful workplace

Benefits of a Wellness Program O Expenses on health care will go down. O Less employees out sick which leads to more work getting done. O Employees will be and feel more healthy.

Heart Disease O People are not getting the cardiovascular fitness that they should be getting. O By 2020 heart disease will be the leading cause of death throughout the world. O This year 920,000 people will suffer a heart attack. O 250,000 people die annually of Sudden Cardiac Death.

Obesity O More than 1 in 3 adults are considered obese. O 1 in 20 adults are considered to have extreme obesity. O 2 in 3 adults are considered to be overweight or obese.
