Background Hyderabad is one of the most air polluted cities in India Apparent public apathy/cynicism despite some awareness Outdoor air quality taking its toll on public health – especially children

Objectives Raise awareness – linking outdoor air quality and public health Encourage action at the individual, local and community levels to address air quality issues

Approach Launching a campaign that reaches the masses – focus on children Gaining support from government and other agencies Recruiting potential partners Media and Outreach Public Education Strategy
