Old Standards PO 3. Solve problems involving percentages, ratio, and proportional, including tax, discount, tips, and part/whole relationships.

Common Core Standards 7.RP.1. Compute unit rates associated with ratios of fractions, including ratios of lengths, area and other quantities measured in like or different units. 2. Recognize and represent proportional relationships between quantities. Decide whether two quantities are in a proportional relationship… Identify the constant of proportionality… Represent proportional relationships… Explain what a point on the graph of a proportional relationship means in terms of the situation… 3. Use proportional relationships to solve multistep ratio and percent problems.

Assignments/Homework: Math is a subject that requires daily practice to build and retain skills and knowledge. As such, your child will have an assignment daily, with the exception of test days. (On a test day, there is no assignment or homework.)
