Presentation transcript:

Webcast is the term used to describe the transmission of audio and / or live video (similar to a broadcast radio or television) over the Internet. Webcast The concept stems from the words web (World Wide Web) and broadcast (broadcast, transmission of information from one transmitter to multiple receivers simultaneously.)

The transmisión Webcast traditionally used in one direction, ie with a video camera was filming a person (call rapporteur) and the corresponding video and audio can be shared by any number of concurrent users. it is now available to users viewing the live broadcast of the event, a chat, through which the rapporteur responded to each of the questions posed by users, all at the same time and if that happens through the issuance Webcast.

Flash

For optimal viewing you need ADSL connection or cable modem, and about 32 MB of memory. You need the appropriate application, such as Windows Media Player or RealPlayer, to play a webcast

INTERNAL CORPORATE COMMUNICATION. Communication with employees Communication with different departments. Training courses for internal and / or training (eLearning)

FIELD OF EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION Communication from the company with agents, distributors, medical representatives, dealers, etc.. Communication with Clients Webcasting content in 'On-demand' for Support to external networks of distributors.

It is a very powerful tool. Allowing access from a remote distance education programs and / or culture are being broadcast live.

Like watching a television channel, to make the connection to the webcast channel can reach the exact time that is running the event. The event will broadcast live at the same time is recorded and preserved as archival material for transmission deferred after the event. Alternative transmission at very low cost. Able to communicate with the public anywhere in the world.

Webcast requires a lot of bandwidth. How much will depend on the capacity in which the transmission is generating the event.

Webcast displays all the elements of a presentation in the same interface, as opposed to videoconferencing systems. The webcast format of communication that is already used for many years in the business world and that all users are already accustomed. (Speaker & Powerpoint). The slides simple (normally distributed after the presentation) does not normally provide much information without a precise explanation of the rapporteur.
