Legality of Using Videos One critical issue to keep in mind when sharing and discussing these videos with your students is media literacy, including general Internet reliability. Are the videos truly what they say they are? Might some of these clips violate copyright? What constitutes a "good" video?

How to Download Videos Go to YouTube or another site where video is available. You should see that the Downloadhelper icon is animated. If you click on the little arrow to the right of the Downloadhelper icon, it’ll show you the name of the video you’re about to download. Click on that name and a window will appear. You can rename the video if you wish to do so. After you’ve downloaded the file you should be able to play it!

Convert, Convert To insert videos into PowerPoint presentations, videos must be converted to a MPG or WMV file. The new DownloadHelper downloads directly to your preferred format. Inserting Videos into PowerPoint In Normal view, click the slide to which you want to add a movie. On the Insert tab, in the Media Clips group, click the arrow under Movie. Click Movie from File, locate the folder that contains the file, and then double-click the file that you want to add. You can choose to start the movie automatically or when clicked.
