Ageism Activity: Myth or Reality? Older people are less productive than young people. Stress is more prevalent among elderly than other age groups. The quality of health care available to older people is generally better than that available to others. Sexual desire and activity in old age gradually declines. People in retirement are generally well off and receiving adequate benefits from the govt. As people move into older ages, it is more likely that men will be left alone. The elderly almost inevitable become senile and slow-witted. As people age they become more rigid and inflexible. On what basis did you respond to the statements? Consequences of discrimination against older people?
