Foundation 2 (Reception) F2: 50% indoor/outdoor with child initiated play Teacher and teaching assistant per class Phonics Mental/oral numeracy Reading books Learning journeys Cameras home

Main school: Y1 & 2 (KS1) Year 1: Continue with child initiated, adult initiated play and teacher led activities – following the Early Years ethos Year 2: Children may set by ability in Numeracy and Literacy half term/Spring term according to ‘readiness’ F/T Teaching Assistants in each class (often trainees too) Differentiated planning – support, core and challenge Intervention groups for SEN – speech and language, fine motor skills, social skills, G & T etc. depending on needs
