Johnson Controls Metasys/IBM Tivoli Demo Booth demonstration will include 2 PCs & demonstration panel. Tivoli PC – LCD Monitor Metasys PC – Plasma Monitor Terry Hoffmann’s or John Gnadinger’s laptops Demo Panel – NCE2566 2 Switches 2 POTs 1 Thermistor Appropriate software points & programming to initiate demonstration of a chiller plant, AHU, and meters.

Outside Air Temperature Chiller 1 Alarm Panel wiring will be cleaned up before bringing to the show. Alarm points are setup and marked according to picture above. All points are setup to alarm and return to normal with appropriate switches or POT. SNMP traps are thrown for alarm initiation and return to normal to facilitate proper action in Tivoli. AHU 1 Smoke Alarm Datacenter Zone Temp AHU 1 Discharge Air Outside Air Temperature

Chiller plant graphic. Chillers 1 – 3 are setup so that when you turn on the chiller, the associated valves and pumps are turned on at the same time. Supply temperature is setup to change according to the number of chillers supplying chilled water. Return temperature is a function of supply temperature plus an offset. JCI Metasys

IBM Tivoli Monitoring – Main Screen This is the initial Tivoli screen monitoring for SNMP traps and multiple points from Metasys (Zone Temperature, primary power meter, power meters 2 – 6, and outside air temperature). IBM Tivoli Monitoring – Main Screen

Top switch thrown will create the Chiller 1 Alarm and show the subsequent alarm on the Metasys graphic screen. This will also initiate the raising of the supply temp and the return water temperature. SNMP trap is thrown and shows in Tivoli – next page. JCI Metasys
