5 5 File/Print Server Includes technology (SAMBA) to act as a file server for Windows, Unix and Linux clients. With Add-Ons such as Resilent Storage can be used in mission critical application environments. Web Server RHEL includes the entire LAMP stack with options for MySQL, PostgteSQL & SQLite Applications Server RHEL includes a version of TomCat but is also the basis for any robust middleware such as JBOSS or WebSphere. Database Server Broadly deployed and can be made resilient with the High Availability Add-On Management Infrastructure Platform Supported by the major platforms such as Tivoli, HP Openview, BladeLogic and RHN Satellite Computational Clusters With special packages for HPC, and coupled with Red Hat's own MRG-Grid enables customers to build an complete HPC cluster. Utility Infrastructure With thousands of opens source packages, RHEL can be used throughout the data center, including fire walls, mail handler or directory server Enterprise Application Platform For hosting most enterprise applications such as Oracle, SAP, Documentum, and SAS Virtualization and the “Cloud” With integrated virtualization and resource management, RHEL is an excellent virtualization host, and is designed to be a superior guest on any of the major hypervisors. Red Hat Enterprise Linux Common Deployments Supported by an extensive library of Reference Architectures

7 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 7 Red Hat Enterprise Linux Add-On's May be configured for most applications that use customizable agents, as well as for virtual guests. Provides redundancy for web serving, databases, networking, and storage. Enables a shared storage or clustered file system to access the same storage device over a network. Provides support for file systems that are more than 16 terabytes in size. Includes management, monitoring, and provisioning support modules for Red Hat Network and Red Hat Network Satellite. Delivers remote directory memory access over converged Ethernet (RoCE) for those times when low network latency and high capacity are important. Extends the support period of an update for 18 months and delivers overlapping release support to give enterprise customers more flexibility.
