Donations Can Be Directed to a Fund of Your Choice: Safety Matters Fund – our big-picture fund and newest initiative. The Safety Matters fund invests in quality, ground-breaking research, promotes safety professionals as risk-assessments experts, and expands the EH&S workforce. Advocate/Visionary Named Scholarship/Professional Education Grant Fund – establish and name a fund according to your own criteria; each year the Foundation awards more than $175,000 to students and professionals pursuing OH&S enrichment. Any other named scholarship/grant – contribute to one of the more than 70 previously established scholarship/grant funds at the Foundation and provide much-needed support to students and professionals. Legacy Trust Program – demonstrate leadership by example and your belief in the future of the profession through a bequest, a gift of retirement assets, or a gift of a life insurance policies. Make a Leadership Gift ($100+) Invite a Trustee to your ROC meeting to explain the programs and purpose of the Foundation Encourage 100% giving from the chapters within your region Encourage chapters to donate to the Foundation’s Silent Auction or play/sponsor the Golf Outing at PDC Help the Foundation reach out to your company for their support in the form of a direct gift or matching funds Become a member of the Legacy Trust Program How ASSE Leaders Can Support the Foundation
