More Strategies We refer to all students as “scholars” DRILL DOWN the DATA to the students/Student Growth model Triangulation of data analyzed Several parent nights-K and 5 th grade nights Peer tutors/math manipulatives Students made predictions and these were posted outside of the classroom as a visual reminder Small groups/Math all day instruction Providing students with interactive web-sites to help The five WHYs-Root Cause analysis

What Strategies did we implement to achieve our goals? Differentiation in the classrooms Content collaborations weekly/Vertical team S.I.L.T. (School Improvement Leadership Team) 2-math help sessions for students in grades 3-5 on two Saturdays Teachers volunteered to work with student’s afterschool Conferencing with parents daily Communicators with formative/summative assessment grades on Wednesday

More Strategies Technology-connected lesson plans/use of technology in the classrooms daily Professional learning based on needs assessments Smaller math classes/Hands-on activities Y.E.S. program/SUCCESSMAKER Daily Interventions and enrichment scheduled during the school day. Monitoring the progress of subgroups and weaknesses were targeted with immediate, intense interventions. Working as a T-E-A-M
