31 Russell Elementary Discussion
Strengths Reading and Language Arts consistently stay our front runners. What can we contribute to our success? How can we transfer that into our content areas? The “exceeds” category is showing increases in Reading, language Arts and Math . How can we continue to move students from the “does not meets” and “meets” categories to the “exceeds” category? Weaknesses Students with Disabilities are performing below other subgroups. How can we specifically focus on the needs of these students to increase their achievement? There continues to be an achievement gap within our Race/Ethnicity groups. How can we ensure all students maintain a high level of school performance?

32 Where Do We Go From Here Russell Elementary
Develop safety nets that work for our students who are more academically challenged. Discuss strengths and weakness in Data teams and determine academic strategies for individual students, then track the results. Hone Data teams to become more intentional in our data analysis and more practical in the ways we use data. Monitor success, learn from failures.
