To Work or Not To Work That is the question !  School: ESCA Management school  Mentor: Mme I. El GHAZALI  Team: Winners Team  Country: Morocco

Unemployment in Morocco is a very serious problem According to the world Bank Young Moroccans “are not active job seekers, They have given up”. There are a lot of types of unemployment though the one that concerns us most is the one that is caused by wrong mentality and untrue beliefs. Is to help these young people understand that: THE GOAL  Success comes with hard work and patience,  Having a degree is not enough anymore to earn a job,  Good character and motivation can land you your dream job. More than all that we have a very high percentage of these young people who choose not to work until they find the jobs they want. They are voluntarily unemployed even though they are still looking for jobs. These young people don’t want Just any Job they want Jobs That they have designed in their heads and they refuse to settle for less.

Our Project A forum for unemployed youth Several facets of the problematic are going to be discussed with professionals (professors, executives, psychologists and coaches). An opportunity for unemployed youth with the same problems and the same vision to meet amongst themselves and discuss. Gathering a multitude of experts and known personalities and featuring a diversity of activities and encounters that will benefit the participants. Encouraging youth to take initiatives and make things happen for themselves by giving them guidance to create their own projects.  Focus on the importance of character and personality not only skills  Conferences with businessmen who will help understand the effort it takes to succeed.  Competitions for best business plans to grant the opportunity to open a business.  An official website that can be used to benefit from personalized offers and programs.  PNL coaching, motivation seminars, team building.  The prospect of participating in a reality show that will be posted on the web. Our main objective is to fight this mentality

We Made it work !! On the 22 end of April we had the very first edition of the Youth Unemployment Forum. The forum was a great success. When people ask me why did you create your first business when you were so young? I answer them because I needed to eat. I was hungry" When people ask me why did you create your first business when you were so young? I answer them because I needed to eat. I was hungry" "we are not in a waiting logic. I don't have what I want so I will not work!" "You think that just because you did some good studies that us companies have to give you jobs. You have to earn it" Thami GHORFI: Majid EL GHAIB: Mohammed El MANJERA:  A team of 11 members that took the project in charge and worked on organizing and preparing for the event.  Three well known personalities that discussed the topic and worked with the participants on the mentality change.  50 participants that came to the forum from different schools to participate in the discussion and ask their own questions and benefit from the event.
