7 Introduction to Travel and Tourism Is a regular 1-semester or 4X4 Block 9-weeks in-depth study of travel, transportation and tourism. Students are introduced to the industry as a whole and the job opportunities that are available. (.5 credits)

8 Introduction to Hospitality Is a 1-semester or 4x4 block 9- weeks course that provides students with an overview of the hospitality industry and career opportunities within the industry. Students learn about hotel and motel operations, guest services, marketing, ownership, food, beverages, and housekeeping management. (.5 credits)

10 Introduction to International Travel Is a 1-semester or 4x4 block 9- weeks course that provides coverage of International Air Travel, ticketing procedures, travel requirements, investigating different cultures, passports and time zones. (.5 credits)

11 Introduction to Travel Destinations Is a 1-semester or 4x4 9-weeks course that covers world geography, land forms, reservations, sales, financial planning for travel around the world & exotic destinations.

12 Lodging Management I and II are two-semester courses that provide students with skills and knowledge of the lodging industry. Unit II provides hospitality internships under supervision of work-site mentors and the opportunity to be tested for industry – recognized certification. Lodging Management Programs I & II
