Following rules As you begin to participate in some simple games, you may notice there are always rules. Rules are created and sometimes even changed. The governing authorities enforce the rules created by those involved in the game. Often times, you have asked me to officiate games

‘Good Sport’ checklist GoodBad 1.Plays according to the rules.Breaks some. 2.Respects the players/ opponents.Disrespects through actions or words. 3. Acknowledges opponents with hand- shake and/or verbal ‘good game’ gesture. Displays rude or inappropriate behaviors after the game. 4. Handles winning and/or losing appropriately and displays little or no emotion towards opponents. Taunts, trash-talk, pouting, arguing, not shaking hands.

Exit/Slip rubric Can perform the games by following the rules established by the governing people. Cannot follow or did not follow the rules established by the game’s creator.
