4. Spirit is something you need a lot of in cheerleading; It’s the spirit that keeps us going and believing that no matter what the situation we can keep pushing on. When you are cheering for your team not only do you have to stay hopeful and positive, but you also have to do the same for your team. Spirit is more then just a six letter word, for cheerleaders everywhere it’s something to live by each and every day. Spirit to me is win or lose having fun, it’s supporting the thing(s) you love no matter what, spirit is trying your hardest even when you think you can’t, It’s the feeling you get; that happiness and excitement of game day. As a cheerleader the most important thing is to keep everyone in high spirits, if we’re doing that, then we’re doing our job!

5. Cheerleading is a lot of fun. It’s a sport that is all about having a great time, and who doesn’t love that? I think that cheerleading is really exciting, and also builds a lot of character; It teaches you a lot of core qualities that you’ll need later on in life. Cheerleading teaches you communication skills, confidence, teamwork, support, and the importance of hard work.
