8 National classification of activities - NKD 2002 NKD is a classification of all economic activities of the Republic of Croatia. represents a statistical standard that is used compulsory for collection, entry, processing, publication and dissemination of statistics important for overall economic development of the Republic of Croatia and its analyses and development projection it is also a binding standard for classification of business entities (legal and natural persons) and for conducting the Business Register it was designed at the end of 1994 on the basis of statistical classification of economic activities of European Union – NACE Rev. 1

9 National classification of activities - NKD 2002 NKD was entered into force on 1 January 1995 with a transitional period of 2 years.
