3 CLASSIFICATIONS Economic activities - NACE Rev. 2 Current situation  Classification of activities is classification of all economic activities that can be performed in Montenegro and is used to collect, process, publication and dissemination of statistical data. It is also used for the classification of business entities, and for the keeping of registers.  It was made at the and of 2010. on the basis of the statistical classification of economic activities in the EU's NACE-Rev. 2, which ensures comparability of statistical data of Montenegro in the European and global level. 4 Current situation  Classification of activities is divided into sectors, divisions, branch and group activities.  It was made the preliminary correspondence table which shows the relationship between by that using version of NACE rev. 1 with new corresponding NACE Rev. 2. 5 Legal framework  Commission Regulation (EC) no. 29/2002 of 19 December 2001 amending Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3037/90 on the statistical classification of economic activities in the European Community;  Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) no. 1893/2006 of 20 December 2006, establishing the statistical classification of economic activities NACE Rev. 2 and amending Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3037/90 as well as certain EC Regulations on specific statistical domains, OJ L 393, 30.12.2006;  Commission Regulation (EC) no. 973/2007 of 20 August 2007 by which amending certain regulations of the European Commission on the implementation of the statistical classification of economic activities NACE Rev.. 2 in specific statistical domains, OJ L 216, 21.8.2007; Harmonization  KD 2010 full corresponded to NACE Rev. 2, it was performed at the lowest level of 4 digits. 6 CPA classification (Products by activity ) Current situation  CPA classification classifies products.  The basic principle of product classification in the classification of the CPA is the source of the product.  CPA classification is in use in the Department of National Accounts.  CPA (Statistical Classification of Products by Activity) is used to make supply and use tables which examines the structure of inputs and outputs of the production process of all activities within the national economy. This means that all revenue (by product groups and services) and expenses (the group of products and services) to the managing of business enterprises should be shown on the detailed level of CPA classification. 7 Legal framework  Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) No. 451/2008 of 23 April 2008th, by which establishing a new statistical classification of products by activity (CPA) and repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3696/93, OJ L 145, 4.6.2008; Future plans  As National accounts could access to development of supply and use tables it is need that statistics who monitor the production and consumption of agricultural products, forestry, fishing, mining, industrial products and other products and services, displayed data in accordance with the CPA classification.  Statistical Office will use trade group by the CPA classification in the forthcoming annual survey of retail trade group. 8 Geonomenclature (GEONOM) Current situation  Geonomenclature (Geonom) includes the "Nomenclature of countries and territories for the external trade statistics of the European Union and between the Member States."  GEONOM allows to identify the participants in international trade.  Montenegro not used Geo-nomenclature to mark countries and territories, we use ISO 31 66. Deadline for harmonization  Introduction of Geonomenclature is expected in the 2015th year. 9 Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics - NUTS klasifikacija Current situation  Establishing statistical regions in line with the EU nomenclature (Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics - NUTS) is part of the EU legal framework which is required from the candidate country to accept it before accession the EU.  In accordance with obligations under the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), which is valid between Montenegro and the EU, and the need for providing comparative statistical information at European level, the Statistical Office of Montenegro - MONSTAT has prepared a proposal of statistical regions in accordance with the European statistical standards NUTS. 10 Current situation  Document was adopted by Eurostat.  As the regional division of Montenegro is not defined by national law, in the drafting of the statistical regions of Montenegro in accordance with the NUTS classification, it was following the criteria that are in line with the criteria laid down in Regulation (EC) no. 1059/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council from 26 May 2003. about establishment of a common classification of territorial units for statistics (NUTS).  Statistical Office of Montenegro - MONSTAT as the official producer of data in this moment have the capacity to fulfill EU requirements in terms of statistical production and by NUTS classification Montenegro is one statistical region in all three levels that are in line with the European statistical standard NUTS. 12 International Standard Classification of Occupations – ISCO Current situation  Standard Classification of Occupations is mandatory standard that is used in recording, collecting, analyzing and publishing data relevant to the movement of the labor market in Montenegro.  Standard classification of occupations was done by the Statistical Office and adopted by the Government (published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro. No.69/05).  After the public hearing, in the preparation of the classifications was involved all relevant representatives of state funds (Pension Fund and Health Fund), Chamber of Commerce, the Employers and Unions. 13 Current situation  Occupations in the Standard Classification of Occupations are classified into four hierarchical levels: gender (one-digit number) species (two-digit) subtypes (three digit number) and groups (four-digit number).  Each occupation is marked with a code and job title. 15 International Standard Classification of Education - ISCED Current situation  Classification of Education ISCED was done to facilitate comparison of education statistics and indicators between countries on the basis of unique and internationally agreed definitions.  Regarding the Classification of Education, currently, Statistical Office applied International Standard Classification of Education ISCED 97. 16 Legal framework  Commission Regulation (EU) No. 253/2013 from 15 January 2013. amending Annex II of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No. 692/2011, as regards the adaptation after the revision of the International Standard Classification of Education ISCED in relation to variables and conditions that may be submitted. 17 Future plans  In the future it is necessary, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sports of Montenegro, making national classification of education complies with the International Standard Classification of Education ISCED 2011 to ensure international comparability of statistical data.
