ESL Video A New Style of Quiz! eslvideo.com Kaylee Luppino, Miranda Whiteford, Seyda Arslancil, Jake Swartwout

What is ESL Video? ESL Video is a website where you can make online quizzes based on online videos. The quizzes are multiple choice and you can add notes or transcripts. After you make a quiz you can send a link for it to your students on Eslvideo.com or post it on your own website. After taking the quiz your students can send you the results.

Registering for To use ESL Video you and your students need to register as users. This will allow your students to send you their quiz Results. You will just click on the link titled register on Eslvideo.com and fill in the necessary information.

To create a quiz: Log in and click on the link that says “create a quiz.”

Step Two: Find a video that you like on YouTube and copy the embedded code of the video. You will also need to choose a image to use as a thumbnail. You will save this image to your computer as a.jpg file.

Step Three: Paste the embedded code for your video into the space provided. Add the additional information required such as the title, tags, quiz type, along with the thumbnail image. Then, click next.

Step Four: Add your questions, notes, and transcripts by simply clicking on the corresponding link below the video and then just adding the information in that you want. Once you are done just click my account to view your video quiz.

Step Five: Click on my quizzes and click on the quiz you want to share. Copy the url and paste it in an to to your students. Then your students can click on the link and take the quiz. After the students answer the questions they can submit there answers and see how they did. Once, they do that the option to send the scores will immediately pop up and they will just need to fill in the required information.
