Animoto Demo Let’s try it! Everyone go to http://animoto.com/education and apply for educator access. Sign up with your school information, since this will create an education account for you. Then, click sign up and create an account with your exact same information. You should immediately have limited access, but won’t receive the code for you and your students for a few weeks.http://animoto.com/education If you just want to try it out for today, you may want to create a personal account with your personal email, which will give you limited access. Then, if you like it, you can apply for educator access later using your work email.

Animoto Demo Once you are signed up, click the blue “Create Video” button Click on the style of video you prefer Click “Create Video”

Animoto Demo Verify that this is the style you want and click “Create Video” Click on “select from our collection” (if you have personal photos you want to use, choose “upload from your computer”)

Animoto Demo Continued Click on Images to see their image collection Choose the collection you want to view and then select some images from their collection (click the open apple button on a Mac to select more than one picture at a time) Click Done when you have selected all your photos

Animoto Demo Continued Click on the large T to add text. Make a title slide and click done when satisfied with your title. Click Done to move onto to step 2—select your music. Pick a song from their collection and click “Save and Continue” when ready.

Animoto Demo Continued Click “Continue”. Type in your customized data, then click “Create Video”. You will receive an email when your video is complete. At that point, you can save it to your laptop or post it to a website.

Adding PPT Slides to Animoto Create your PPT slides. When you’re done, click on “File” and choose “Save as Pictures” This will convert your PPT slides into jpeg files (each slide will convert to its own picture). You will also want to save the PPT as a PPT, in case you need to make changes later. Then, go into Animoto and choose to upload pictures from your computer. You can then choose your PPT slide picture files.
