Photo Essay Reflection By Kiley Dindinger

Characteristics of the Genre I focused on making sure that it all tied back to the genre but also caught the reader finding themselves in deep emotion of sadness and excitement between each slide. My main audience was all the people that need to know this and I was writing it to help them make a difference for the better. I was inspired by the earthquake in Haiti.

Writing Process This idea started by how most people I know do not help everyone but only help to get recognized. This project took a long time. What I found all off the pictures and music was by just deeply thinking about how to make a difference and how to help others realize that they need to help.

Technology I now know how to work on photo story 3 and how to make my photo story better. I now know that photo stories are better when there are word only slides and lots of picture only slides and not much narration but to really catch the reader in the pictures. The music also has to make the reader emotional.

Affective Development This project has increased my knowledge of self because now I know that I do strongly believe in helping others and that it almost makes me sad when people are rude to my friends and my enemies. Also that I want to be able to give all I can but that I wish that I gave more.

Evaluation I think that my project is good but that the next one will be better because now I know how my project can be better. I am proud that it turned out good and that I remembered to give credit were credit is do. I faced the challenge of words and to many on my slides. On my next project I will chose to not record and to let my music do the work.
