WHAT DO THEY DO?  plan and design interior environments for enclosed spaces  They also use what’s known as CAD (computer-aided drafting)  They also select or design and purchase furnishings, art works, and accessories  They estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval  They have to coordinate with other professionals, to ensure job success  They advise the client on the interior design factors

 knowledge of design techniques  knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.  knowledge of materials, tools, and methods involved in construction  knowledge of the structure and content of the  knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.  4-year bachelor’s degree WHAT THEY NEED TO KNOW
