Leading a Discussion  One can demonstrate leadership by:  Introducing oneself and the members of the group.  Stating the purpose of the discussion.  Inviting quiet group members to speak.  Being objective.  Summarizing the discussion.

When you initiate a GD, you not only grab the opportunity to speak, you also grab the attention of the examiner and your fellow candidates. If you can make a favorable first impression with your content and communication skills after you initiate a GD, it will help you sail through the discussion. Don’t worry if you are not the first to speak. The evaluator will notice a good perspective even if you are not the first

Body of Discussion In your initial thinking time, quickly put down a few talking points. Clarify and be focused on the goals of the GD and steer the arguments towards those goals. Keep your arguments short and simple. Make your point without preventing others from expressing their views. Listen carefully to others’ view points-Don’t overlook and don’t repeat things without building on / adding value.

S UMMARIZATION /C ONCLUSION Avoid raising new points. Avoid stating only your viewpoint. Avoid dwelling only on aspect of the GD. Keep it brief and concise. It must incorporate all the important points that came out during the GD. If the examiner asks you to summaries a GD, it means the GD has come to an end. Do not add anything once the GD has been summarized.

Cast Based Discrimination In Education System

Hello friend we have gathered here to have fruit full GD on “ Caste Based Discrimination In Education System”.

Reservation System Includes Caste:- -OBEC -SC -ST - GENERAL Indian Education System Follows: Reservation System

In our education system the most benefit goes to ST, SC, & OBEC.As they have reserved sits in college as well as in jobs. General Category student suffer the most. The students belonging to reserved caste get admission to the college even at low merit. While the smart &hardworking & capable general category students lag behind because of reservation system. Even in jobs, the caliber & talent is not much taken into consideration for these reserved people.

Non contributor contributor The reserved system must be totally cleared and the admission and job must be given on the basis of talent and capability not on casts. In what sense? But the country like India needs reservation system up to some extent because of low poverty line. The people belonging to OBEC, SC,ST cast are the people whom the society has discarded so for the upliftment of this downtrodden people India has reservation system.

Non contributorContributor  But why for the upliftment these people general category students have to suffer.  Agreed with your point but for some positive change, someone has to suffer.  Anyway our education system has to go under some modification process.

 Reservation system must be their but only up to 25% not up to and excellent of 50%.  The admission and the job must be given on the basic of talent, capability and caliber.  5
