Multiple Intelligence

Intelligence Our traditional understanding of intelligence is that our ability to learn and do things occur at the same cognitive capacity. Alfred Binet, designed a test to analyze a child’s intelligence.

The IQ Test Designed to show a student’s weakness. American schools started using it to rank students. Average score 100 Gifted score131+ Special Education Score81

Scholastic Aptitude Test Measurement of Raw Intelligence. Used by nearly every college in America. Lots of versions of this test.

Howard Gardner Graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Created the Multiple Intelligence theory in 1983.

Multiple Intelligences A different way to look at the intellect. Rather then ask “How Smart Are You”? ask “How Are You Smart”? The number of Multiple Intelligence range from 8 – 10, most people have 3 to 4 that are stronger then the others.
