The air inlets for the boiler and the water heaters should be placed much lower than the vent. You should construct a duct to direct the outside air to dump over the water heater. SUGGESTED AIR MOVEMENT - NTS We will provide an Exhausto RSIB modulating fan to move the warm air OUT of the condenser area and over the warm dishwasher area. The fan will have a manual speed control to obtain a comfort level both in the dishwasher area and the condenser area. The Exhaust fan (existing in the wall) will be turned off but left in position. The colder air will be brought in and across the hot coils, but used to condition the space. This area will reduce or eliminate the negative in the mechanical room. An interlock Freon detection system should be added to shut off our fan and start the exhaust fan if there is a Freon leak. Fusion boilers are Hybrid condensing boilers. All primary pumps and mixing valves are mounted in the package and part of the boiler design. Fusion boilers include HeatNet control system. This system allows a daisy chain between boilers communicating off of one master. Each boiler has a required flow rate of 116gpm @ 13.8ftpd. Pumps mounted on boilers are rated at this capacity with up to 30’ of normal piping and fittings. Each boiler has a continuous turndown of 3:1. HeatNet will utilize all boilers to maximize efficiency with the turndown ratio. System turndown is from 15,192MBH to 627MBH output. (About a 23:1 system turndown without straining single boiler combustion or operation. Layout is purely conceptual, all components are not shown. This project had a 25,000 cfm unit on it. Operating 24/7, figuring $1 per therm with an average temp of 60F the direct fired unit (99% efficiency) running at 100% OA (outdoor air) would cost $38,223.00 annually in fuel. This puts the ‘equipment’ (not installation) at under a 3 year payback. Also, can’t get much ‘greener’ since there is no combustion used. Winter Heat Summer Load Shed to Domestic?
