Presentation transcript:

Do you ever look at your TV and see children on TV for crimes? Do you ever wonder what young teens go through? Why do children turn to crime? I have done my research on programs that can keep the youth out of crimes and help realize that there lives are important and its important for them to have an education and to be something in life.

I want an innovative job matching service for youths, ♥ +Living=Life, will try and find businesses and individuals hiring youths for part-time work. The teens will have an est. of 15,000 hours and be paid in wages that we will help them try to budget. Save to invest in college or future education or self bettering needs, and that’s what ♥ +Living=Life is about.

The M.O.R.E Program African-American males are underperforming academically at such troubling levels CPS has created We Need Need M.O.R.E(Men Organized, Respectful, and Educated) First Phase of We Need M.O.R.E will create 10 Young Men’s Club in Cincinnati Public Schools by August Academic Support Social Skills Development

The M.O.R.E Program When I talked to the local representative here in our school, what I learned from this program is that it help young men become more mature and to educate them more as they get ready to go out into the real world

Grant program is a competitive grant program providing up to $300,000 each in two years for family literacy library projects. Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with other libraries, library systems, schools, cultural organizations, community groups, social service agencies and local businesses for public library-based programs. These grants see to enable public libraries and their community partners to offer programs, services, and materials to encourage family literacy activities; to support the Regents Learning Standard Grant program

Grants A pool of money is available for community- based projects initiated, designed, and run by youth 21 and under. The Youth Action Grants Program will provide grants of up to $1,000 to youth or youth groups who want to take action that makes Our Bill of Rights: Children + Youth and Portland's community vision a reality.

Conclusion Now that you know about my plans and research I would all like to say thank you for taking time and listening to my powerpoint about youth programs. THANK YOU!!!!!!
