 Statistics show that majority women are homeless because of Domestic violence, Unemployment.  A large number of homeless young women either ran away or were kicked out of there home due to pregnancy.  Youth age out of the foster care system and are discharged with no housing or income support.  20% of youth who arrive at shelters came directly from foster care.  African Americans have a huge percentage that makes up for the homeless people in America.

People say they want these ladies to get off the street but you have no clue why they are on the street. Being pregnant and being in a bad relationship could be reasons why these ladies are with out housing and without employment as well. Their aren’t many places they can go but if there is place that person probably couldn’t meet all the requirements.

 How could we try to prevent the drastic increase on homelessness that is uprising? As I searched for research about where people can go I found that in Seattle they have a Pro Youth program that is connecting homeless youth with service, and is often done through Partners Reaching Out to Youth Countywide. In Seattle they provide not just meals and health care but housing, jobs and education. Also a program called Wings Of Hope they help women get on their feet and help them with finding housing and job as well.  One particular women was blessed and received a two bedroom apartment for her and her children. So why not try to help doing the same thing in Cincinnati by tackling the root.

 My goal is to ensure there are no women and their children and youth on the streets because of Homelessness. In this way I will be renting two homes from my own family member who owns and rents homes.  These homes are for homeless women and female youth and they will have very low rent based on their income if they have no type of income that’s another part where I come in at I will be helping find jobs for these ladies.

A person can stay in this program for a minimum of three years. After three years you have to be in the state of being able to live on your own and have found an apartment or house before leaving.

 This money is coming from government grants, donations from companies and as well as other programs that would like to contribute to my program. greensavingsco.com
