3. Do you feel Cincinnati does a good job in fighting crime? In Oakland, a program exists in which homicides drop about 20% from 2007-2008 and reduction in gang’s group about 38% in first six months. This is a program we might be able to bring to Cincinnati. Do you think Cincinnati will lay off then rehire police officers like Oakland did? Oakland wanted police officers who had been laid off to come back to work again with them. Cincinnati doesn’t want to lay off police officers because they need protection from crime.

4. Research 1. Agencies create more tactical response and crime prevention strategies to make communities safe. 2. Law enforcement agencies who active ShotSpotter Gunshot Location System to give them on gun crime by firearms and violent crime alerts. 3.They have many different dramatic in our areas by ShotSpotter’s system. 4.Police Department study feasibility of implementing ShotSpotter about gun violence. 5.They don’t use word “gang” as issue of behavior. 6.They like to tell that trust people in community who know this gang would convince felons to put down guns.

The city needs neighborhood police officers back on the job because city needs more police officers to stop crime. 12. Oakland’s city like to copy from Chicago that made ceasefire model because it provide youth with alternatives to gang behavior and increase awareness about dangers of youth violence. 13. Most men are hard-core gang members it means they are not scared of polices and easy to beat small groups. 14. They hope that gang to listen officer says that we care about you and care about your community. 15. Contreras hopes that Ceasefire will bring new focus to solve also its escalating gang murder counts.

6. Collaboration Police officers want to keep reducing crime instances. People are more likely to be at risk of criminal involvement if these officers didn’t work on reducing crime. Ceasefire has proven to be a more effective crime- reducing program than other programs. One of expert says that they understand that police officer efforts to catch criminals, but they are not easy to catch. One of expert says that he is happy when they set Hot Spots, a technology that made catching criminals faster than call 911.

7. My Plan ShotSpotter is very good for stopping crime, because ShotSpotter set up technology to find crimes easily and to catch sounds of gunfire that can hear easily. In Cincinnati, They would get ShotSpotter because I think ShotSpotter can make our community better than before ever. They can make our community better and want people “to feel free and feel that no crime here.” We have had arrests as a result of the ShotSpotter system, recoveries of weapons and have had some instances where we were able to get medical attention to victims before a 911 call had been received by NCPD Communications Bureau from Nassau County that ShotSpotter help to reduce crime and Cincinnati use these program too. Legislator Cooper's bill gives the Suffolk County Police Department 60 days to study the feasibility of implementing ShotSpotter and to determine which communities would most benefit from this proprietary acoustic surveillance technology system. First responders and law enforcement agencies around the world are actively utilizing the ShotSpotter Gunshot Location System to give them an edge on gun crime by having otherwise unavailable firearms, violent crime alerts, and activity data. Gun seizures in the target area rose by 60%, and gun crimes dropped by 49%.

8. My Plan Parts 2 1) What group of people are you helping? Ceasefire stops murder in Mt. Airy. 2) How many clients will be included? About 20 clients to work together how to stop murder. 3) What is this program trying to accomplish? Where will your program focus upon? They like to tell police officers about crime and make technology system that can stop murder easily in Mt. Airy. 4) How many people will I need to employ and in what positions? I need to employ 100 people in police officers

(Buildings, land, supplies, security, etc.) I need other resources are Law enforcement, Police Department, and Private Investigation. 6) What are my costs and for how long? (Salaries, rents, services, supplies etc.) $250,000 is important for our crime fighting efforts for annually. 7) Where does this funding come from? This funding come from ShotSpotter System & Federal government. 8) What am I calling this program? I am calling this program Crime Investigation.

10. Counter-arguments: If people say that Ceasefire and other programs that stop crime, will not succeed or can’t stop all murder. Also people don’t think Ceasefire or other programs can make better technology to stop murder easily. I would say that Ceasefire is working on stop crime and they will make technology that can hear sounds of gunfire and set hotspots that can stop murder. They are trying to stop all murder as their best as they can do it.

11. Closing: I hope you believe these programs and my responses are true, because police officers want our communities to stay safe and no crime. It is their goal. If you do believe or not, police officers and Ceasefire are working on stopping crime and never give up their work. They want no violation or crime in our community, only then they will stop working on crime. Thank you for listening to my presentation and hope you liked it and believe it.
