INTRODUCTION You are going to visit Istanbul with a friend from your Turkish 202 class for four days. Are you ready to explore the one of the greatest and unique cities of the world? Are you ready to take a journey to a city which is the only city in the world that stretches onto two continents? Let’s begin planning for your trip!

TASK With your trip partner, you will plan, Your flight details The places you will visit when you are there The hotel you will stay at The two shopping areas you will go and visit Approximate budget for the whole trip

PROCESS To accomplish the task, you should follow the steps below. Following the instructions listed below will make your tasks easier

CONCLUSION Congratulations! You worked hard in pairs and made plans to visit Istanbul for four days in summer. I hope this journey has helped you practice your Turkish and make a plan for a future trip to Turkey as a Turkish language learner.

TEACHER PAGE This WebQuest is intended for students at the college level who can speak Turkish at an intermediate level The combination of review, research, and the writing process will take 2 hours to complete (however, the time schedule can be adjusted to fit schedule on a teacher by teacher basis).

TEACHER PAGE, Continued It is designed to be used upon the completion of tables by pairs. Students are given time to work cooperatively in pairs while researching. Students will have the opportunity to practice their Turkish language skills during the webquest activities.
