Rail Transport

Vocabularies :- Rail transport -- is a means of conveyance of passengers and goods by way of wheeled vehicles running on rail tracks Rail tracks -- set of two parallel rows of long pieces of steel Engine– machine designed to convert energy into useful mechanical motion passenger car --known as a coach or carriage in the UK, and also known as a bogie in India that is designed to carry passengers. The term passenger car can also be associated with a sleeping car, baggage, dining, railway post office and prisoner transport cars. Freight transportation-- the process of conveying different types of goods from one point to another using a variety of transport modes.

Rail transport France has the second largest European railway network.

Rail tracks They are used by trains to transport people and things from one place to another. (In America, people say railroad as well as railway. It means the same thing.) Often, there is more than one set of tracks on the railway line. For example, trains go east on one track and west on the other one.
