Creating a sporting habit for life Will delivering ‘community use’ be worth our while? Schools really matter to the community. Did you know that… Around 40% of places that people can play sport are found on school sites. This equates to almost: Approximately 2/3rds of schools already allow and encourage use of their facilities. The largest use is by sports clubs/community associations which account for 78% of use sports halls 2000 artificial grass pitches 1500 swimming pools

Creating a sporting habit for life Can we generate an income stream and opportunities? With an appropriate management model & scale of programme = YES THIS CAN BE ACHIEVED. From a typical analysis: Linking to your community through community use, opens doors for partnerships, collaboration and attracting funding. 8 4 court sport hall X 20 hrs per week 48 weeks of the year X Could achieve £30k income. After utility costs deducted = net income in region of £15k.
