Up to £100k available for Solutions to address rural poverty. Causes contributing to poverty, including: Lack of access to jobs and the quality of employment opportunities Low income and precarious employment that contribute to in-work poverty Access to services and transport provision Access to quality and affordable housing Outward migration (skilled workers and young people-brain drain) Access to quality and affordable housing / Fuel poverty Social isolation Rural premium Broadband provision Projects should: Address Rural Poverty Be people led Strengths based Use new or adapted solutions that haven’t been tried in the community before Be connected to other local services and plans Be long term solutions
