Mission

Objectives Increase the number of MetroWest preK-16 students who participate in programs that promote interest in careers related to science, technology, engineering, and math. Increase the number of qualified STEM teachers in MetroWest preK-12 schools. Enhance STEM content knowledge and pedagogy of MetroWest in-service and pre-service teachers. Improve STEM offerings available in public and private schools located in MetroWest.

Operating Plan “Sustaining” initiatives are member programs that benefit from regional collaboration. “Investing” initiatives are new projects or expansion of projects to new applications that require development and funding. “Leveraging” initiatives optimize existing statewide initiatives through collaboration with the respective sponsors to propagate their programs in the MetroWest region.
