Characterization of the OPA350 operational amplifier at cryogenic temperatures EMIR is an infrared multiobject spectrograph and imager for the Gran Telescopio de Canarias (GTC) in La Palma (Spain). Its electronics uses commercial off-the-shelf components working at cryogenic temperatures to help keep signal integrity along the analogue chain. Speaker: Fernando Gago Rodríguez (IAC) The poster describes the procedures and results of the tests of the OPA350 operational amplifier used in the EMIR fan- out board working at 77K.

Several parameters are measured at cryogenic temperatures and compared with datasheet values: input offset voltage, noise, bandwidth and slew rate. Power on procedures and chip reliability at cryogenic temperatures are also studied. These tests are part of a more ambitious plan aimed at getting a database of chips working at cryogenic temperatures. Knowing their behavior when cold will allow us to use them with guarantee.
