The unit focuses on depression and Seasonal Affective Disorders (S A D). Reading One discusses the causes, symptoms, and treatment of SAD. Reading two Features an Alaskan women suffering from SAD, plus information about where in The world SAD might be a problem. The companion unit in North Star: Listening and speaking deals with whatPeople do to stay healthy and lose weight; it also deals with health problems and Natural remedies.
