Your Department’s Academic Goals In keeping with Le Moyne’s Jesuit education tradition, the Department is committed in our various courses, classes and pedagogical methods to the following goals:

Special requirements of your major –The department requires that majors complete… –Additional requirements may include: (insert examples such as internships, statistics/research methods, labs, study abroad, language requirements, cultural electives, service learning, etc.)

Your Major’s Course Requirements  Major Requirements  Free Electives (?? cr.)  Core Courses (required of all students)  Major Support

Things to Consider  English 101 or 102?  Eng is a placeholder for all first-years.  Based on placement exam results, you will be registered for either ENG 101 or ENG 102.  Students who pass ENG 101 will earn free elective credit and should register for ENG 102 in the spring.  Integral Honors Candidate?  Do not take PHL 101 or REL 200 in the fall  Apply in the Fall; apply to director of Honors Program  Fall Student Athlete?  End your daily schedule with classes that begin at or before 2:30 p.m.  Learning Community Member?  If you join, you will be pre-registered for your LC courses and housing placement.

More Things to Consider  Interested in Teaching Certification?  Enroll in EDU 105. Keep open blocks of time for observation hours.  Advanced Placement and College Credit  Refer to AP and College policy to determine Le Moyne credit.  Foreign Language Placement  You will be assigned a foreign language course level based on your high school record (French & Spanish). You can begin a new foreign language to meet requirements, too.  Study Abroad  Many students study abroad as juniors, but other options are available. Consult Office of Global Education and explore!

Student Information & Registration Sheet Front of Sheet: Student Information –Verify Information at Top of Page –Indicate AP Scores and/or College Course(s) –Include Other Helpful Information –Sign Sheet Upon Completion
