Look at your packet and identify your: College Department Major (assigned from your admissions application)

5 What if … I don’t want to pursue this major anymore?
I’m a double major? Make sure your advisor knows I don’t want to pursue this major anymore? No problem. You can change your major anytime before the first day of school by calling the Admissions Office. Get advised today by whatever department interests you the most. DOUBLE MAJOR For today, get advised by your primary major. Make sure your advisor knows you intend to double major. If time, visit the second major today In the future, you will work with both departments.

26 Creating a schedule What to include:
ISEM 101 or Humanities/Social Science –3 credits Appropriate English Course – 3 credits Appropriate Math and/or science Course – 3 to 4 credits Introductory Course in your Major – 1-3 credits P.E., elective, etc.

27 For every hour of class time, you will have to study two hours.
Rules of thumb: For every hour of class time, you will have to study two hours. Papers always take longer to write than you think they will. Math is a foreign language. You should practice it everyday.

28 Schedule for Success 14 or 15 credits your first semester
Take an ISEM or humanities/social science course that really interests you Balance difficult courses Take elective courses just for fun Get some exercise
