Candidate Screening

Project Management Capture Project Schedules

Project Management What can using Changepoint provide me? Track against Schedule and/or Budget for Earned Value metrics Status Updates from resources to provide a Forecast of task progress Record Actual Time and Materials

Project Management What can using Changepoint provide me? Provide data to produce meaningful Executive Status Reports and Portfolio data

Project Management What can using Changepoint provide me? Track Risks, Issues, Change Requests, Defects, Corrective Action Plan, etc.

Project Portfolio Management Project portfolios are made up of one or more projects. Project portfolios allow you to group and evaluate projects that have a common set of metrics such as IT department, priority, funding source, or technology divisions.

Project Portfolio Management

Project Portfolio Management DTMB has leveraged Changepoint data on the world wide web through Changepoint: Information Technology (IT) Investment Fund Portfolio – A report to display projects that are currently in the IT Investment Fund http://www.michigan.gov/openmichigan/0,4648,7-266-58520_63185---,00.html Michigan Legacy Application Modernization Planning – Captures projects that will replace or rewrite an application that is based on outdated, old or unsupported technologies. http://www.michigan.gov/openmichigan/0,4648,7-266-58520_63482---,00.html

Request Management DTMB not only uses requests within Project Management but also stand alone to capture Operational Demand: Changepoint Support Requests (SUPT) – Capture questions and issues associated with the Changepoint application itself. Work Requests (CSR) – Capture smaller demand items coming from Agency and DTMB resources that have a lower level of complexity and/or duration. IS Work Requests (ISR) – Used for I&O processing of incoming work to provide status, and plan for resource demand and Agency priorities.

Time Management Resources enter time in the time sheet and submit the time to their time approver for approval. Time must be approved before any additional processing can be performed. If time is rejected, you must make the necessary corrections before resubmitting the time entry. Time can be adjusted or modified within a 35 day window. Exceptions are handled by administrators.
