Starting-up may be easy, but the challenge is the long-term success. Only a small number survive. A lot of problems prevent young entrepreneurs from a successful transformation of their innovative ideas into a strong and consolidated company. Long-term success is in high degree a result of an ability to change mentality while remaining close to the original mission.

3 © TRACTOR Consortium PROJECT OVERVIEW  The Objective To develop and test a methodology that supports the creation and consolidation of innovative start-ups by integrating innovative practices. 6 © TRACTOR Consortium METHODOLOGY: Web platform TRACTOR provides infrastructure consisting of mentoring, networking, and training.  A structured way of providing support for the creation and consolidation of start-ups.  A common frame for interaction of agencies and incubators with the entrepreneurs.  E-learning platform, a place where users may:  Interact with consultants, experts and other entrepreneurs,  Accede to incubators’ courses and services,  Share opinions,  Store or consult information, and  Test their capabilities and knowledge.

8 © TRACTOR Consortium Interactive Multimedia Game LIVETECH is an innovative multimedia game that aims to raise awareness of the importance of leadership, team working and communication issues when managing a young, innovative start-up.

9 © TRACTOR Consortium Throughout the game, the user experiences real situations while learning important aspects of managing a team: Recruiting the right employees, Motivating employees, Awareness of a leader’s functions, Delegation of functions and powers, Communication (of the vision, of instructions,...), Time management, Acceptance / recognition…. Interactive Multimedia Game The player is presented with suggestions and recommendations in each situation.

10 © TRACTOR Consortium Visit the project website and click here to start playing Interactive Multimedia Game The game is available only in English at the moment, but it will be soon in French, Slovenian and Spanish.  Why this game ?  Interviews with Potential entrepreneurs, Young Managers and Consultants.  They stressed the importance of leadership, team working and communication aspects in the first years of a business.  Taking into account the many courses and consultancy in the market on other issues like Finance, Marketing, etc.

11 © TRACTOR Consortium TRACTOR Results: FUTURE PLANS Our DISSEMINATION PLAN has the goal of ensuring wide distribution of information about the project results to:  Potential users and service providers (Development Agencies, Incubators, Local institutions and Public Bodies, entrepreneurs, etc.)  Policy makers, Potential investors and business partners  Collaborators for further research  Other relevant EU projects Regarding the EXPLOITATION PLANS of the CONSORTIUM in the near future:  SBDC, ESTIA and BEAZ will adapt and integrate the project results in their service offer (the e- learning platform, contents, LiveTech game, etc.)  Be active in building networks and promoting clustering activities for entrepreneurs support.  LABEIN: To customize the learning platform for Agencies (Incubators, Regional agencies, Sectorial Associations, etc.)
