The Colorado Plateau has amazing scenery and contains all 5 of Utah’s National Parks. The Great Basin prevents water from flowing to the Pacific.

7. Describe some unique features of Utah’s largest lake. (3-4 things) The Great Salt Lake is so salty, only brine shrimp can live in it. It is a remnant of ancient Lake Bonneville. It is the largest lake in Utah. It is easy to float in its water because of the high salt content.

8. Name each of Utah’s national parks and describe one special feature (cool thing to see or do) of each of them.
