College Admissions Test

College Admission Tests  ACT & SAT All four-year colleges and universities in the US accept both tests Some prefer one over the other Schools will use the better set of scores for admissions Students can take both tests as many times as they want  The ACT is the most common test in Utah  The difference between the ACT and SAT ACT – Based on actual high school curriculum SAT – Based on critical thinking and problem solving skills Planning for College Guidebook – Page 29

+ Regents’ Scholarship Program Qualifications For Each Reward 1. Max. value $1000 one-time payment 2. Core course of study during Cumulative 3.0 GPA 4. No grade lower that a “C” 5. One report of ACT test score Base Award Exemplary Academic Achievement 1. Flat dollar – Varies yearly ($900 per semester) 2. Core course of study during Cumulative 3.5 GPA 4.
