Wellness Evaluation Body Weight Your weight is the least important of the 9 numbers as it doesn’t determine your shape or your health! Body builders are heavy, but most of their weight comes from muscle, not fat! Someone who is light may be full of body fat with little muscle.

Wellness Evaluation Body Fats % Your body fat percentage is the percentage of your weight that is JUST fat. Excess body fat causes poor circulation which puts more strain on your heart and body. This is why people with high body fat percentages usually get tired easily, are prone to body aches and pains, and have hypertension and cholesterol problems.

Wellness Evaluation Body Water % Water is essential if you want to shape up, reduce your body fat and improve your health. Do you know how much water you SHOULD be drinking on a daily basis? Did you know that 1 cup of coffee dehydrates 2 cups of water from your body?

Wellness Evaluation Body Muscles Mass The first number in the Physical Rating box is the actual weight (in KGs) of your lean muscle. Every 1 KG of lean muscle you gain helps your body to burn an EXTRA 100 calories a day! Remember that calories that are not used, or “burned”, by the body get stored as body fat. The more muscle you have, the faster your body burns calories, shapes up, and the easier it is to maintain your healthy weight.

Wellness Evaluation Physical Rating The second number in the Physical rating box is your physical rating. This is a simple scale that compares the level of fat in your body to the level of muscle. If you have more body fat than muscle, it will be more difficult for you to shape up in the future, and you will be more prone to health problems. If you have more muscle than fat, it will be much easier for your body to burn calories and have a healthy shape

Wellness Evaluation Body Metabolic Rate This is the number of calories your body burns per day. If you eat 500+ calories above this number each day and do not exercise, you will store these extra calories as fat. The average person eats 2000-3000 calories per day! The MINIMUM BMR for a woman should be 1200+ and for a man, 1500+. When people cut calories to lose weight, they also cut their nutrition and protein intake. As a result, the weight they lose is often muscle, NOT fat. This causes their metabolism to decrease, which is why many lose weight but gain EVEN MORE back when they return to their normal eating habits.

Wellness Evaluation Body Metabolic Age Basal Metabolic Rate starts to decrease after the age of 17 years old. Your Metabolic Age Rating indicates what age level your body is currently rated at. If the age indicated is higher than your actual age then you need to improve your Basal Metabolic rate. Increasing exercise levels will build healthier muscles tissues which burn more calories, consequently improving your Metabolic Age Rating.

Wellness Evaluation Bone Mass This is the actual weight of your bone in KGs. The heavier your bone weight the more dense and stronger your bones are. A low bone mass is an indication that vital nutrients are missing from your diet such as calcium and other minerals along with protein. It may also mean that your digestion of these nutrients is poor. Bone mass is important for all people regardless of age or gender.

Wellness Evaluation Visceral Fats These are fats that surrounds the vital organs in the body. High visceral fats level increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Lowering your visceral fats level can stabilize insulin action substantially, reducing your risk of diabetes and other related illnesses.
