Reality Show. In this unit, you have been asked to help a TV production company create a new exciting reality TV show! You are learning to: Understand how a brand or slogan can help the recognition of a company. How a brand or logo can become associated instantly with a particular item or company. Create a logo and strapline that captures the purpose and audience of the item in question.

Reality Show. In this unit, you have been asked to help a TV production company create a new exciting reality TV show! What is branding? Branding is about putting your mark on your product so that the people who are buying it can recognise that it is yours! This can be done by: Designing products and packaging to reflect the company image. Advertising (TV, billboards, magazines and radio). Logo (an image that symbolises the company). Strapline ( a slogan that sums up what the company is about).

Reality Show. In this unit, you have been asked to help a TV production company create a new exciting reality TV show! Create a strapline If you had to describe yourself to a stranger in three words, what would they be? (Use the worksheet) Now try and join the words to make a short snappy sentence (no more than eight words, please!). This is called a strapline. A strapline is a short slogan designed to describe a brand in a memorable way. Now write a strapline for your show that is short, snappy and make the show sound unmissable!

Reality Show. In this unit, you have been asked to help a TV production company create a new exciting reality TV show! What does your brand need to say about you? A good way to increase 'brand awareness' is by using a logo. A logo is an image or symbol, and can also include text and graphics. Your logo needs to make people understand what the show is about, and identify with it - that means that it appeals directly to their tastes and interests. Sketch some ideas on what you want your logo to look like.

Reality Show. In this unit, you have been asked to help a TV production company create a new exciting reality TV show! Produce a final logo design using ICT Choose one of your ideas to produce as your final logo. You need to create this using software, so you can save the logo electronically. You can produce your logo using graphics programs like Adobe Fireworks. Remember to add the name of the show to your logo

Reality Show. In this unit, you have been asked to help a TV production company create a new exciting reality TV show! Design a Billboard poster advertising your new show Remember to use your new logo design. Things to think about: 1)Who are your audience? 2)Remember the size of a billboard poster. 3)Needs to be able to register what it is about quickly as a lot of people will be driving past them in cars…so… 4)Needs to stand out.
