ADVERBS
A word that modifies a verb, an adjective or another adverb.
Adverb rules Tells where, when, how, and to what extent Most adverbs end in –ly but not all adverbs, such as tomorrow, together, and today. Adverbs are OPTIONAL in a sentence. Some sentences may have many adverbs, whereas, other sentences may not have any.

Conjunction Adverbs A conjunction adverb is an adverb used as a connecting word between independent clauses in a compound sentence.
Conjunction adverb example We planned to arrive at the party at five, however, there was traffic on the highway.
Relative adverbs are often used to introduce adjective clauses.
Relative adverb example My uncle Leo told us about the time when he got to go see the pyramids in Egypt.
Other Examples They drive slowly. The party is to be here. I called them yesterday. The boy spoke well for his age. The sun shone brightly.
